So, what's new?

The weather keeps messing around. It's never right. It's always too hot or too cold!

When have you heard that?

I don't complain about the weather. I just look for ways to live with it. I am one of the lucky people who not only gets to see the sun come up every morning that it's not cloudy, I actually enjoy seeing it happen. I never get tired of it.

I see the kids on the bus looking sullen, or sleeping in the morning. They miss all the beauty around them. They've been desensitized by the amazing electronic media. They would rather watch TV, play videos, or surf the internet.
If I point something out to them, such as the high water from the snow melt, or the grass starting to turn green, they just huff as though I'm merely a servant, hired to get them to and from school.

That's OK. I don't mind. I enjoy the scenery whether they do or not.

I am eating more of my home made concoctions (Chili and stew) in an effort to deplete the supply, so I can make more variety soon. I bought new pots and pans, and am waiting for a rebate in the form of a fairly large stock pot. Hopefully, it will arrive soon.

I am also looking for a new source of fish oil. The gelatin capsules I take now are large and they come in a huge container. I am concerned they are going rancid in their shells with time, and may not be good for me. So, I will try to find a smaller container for sale during one of my visits to the supermarket.

I decided to stop going to the counselor. I am coming out of the dark ages, and things are starting to come together for me on my own. I am hoping that this is the time I've been waiting for all of my life when the things I do start to become financially and emotionally satisfying.

I have a story to tell. I think I'll write it in the next entry. It doesn't have anything to do with WLS, diet, or exercise. It's more about my journey through life. In particular, my present journey. I hope it is an easy read.

Don't worry. Life is Good!
